I don't know where the term "Stay at home mom" came from, but it has always seemed quite contradictory to me. Here is my agenda today:
Drop Taylor off at school early for her civil rights meeting
Drop Emily off at school
Drop Ben off at school
Bring Avery to the library for story hour
Pick Ben up from school
Drive Avery to dance class
Get home to get Emily off the bus
Drop Emily off at gymnastics
Pick Taylor up from debate team (after school)
Drive Ben to tee ball practice
Leave tee ball practice (early) to get to Parent Association meeting (late)
Pick Emily up from gymnastics
And
then, at 7:30 pm, I can "stay at home"!
As hectic as these days are though, I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.
"You're gonna miss this. You're gonna want this back. You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast."
