Early this morning, as I was getting the kids ready for school, we heard a loud thud against our picture window in the living room. We went outside to see what the noise could have been, and found this little guy laying on our walkway:



He was pretty stunned, and his right wing seemed to be injured. We brought him to the Center for Wildlife, and will probably go back this weekend so the kids can see how he's doing.

The kids watched the royal wedding with me yesterday, and it was beautiful! Avery danced around the living room to the music, and Emily has decided that she would like to marry a prince someday. When it was over, I called Dave and begged him to take me to England sometime soon. Instead of the the response I was completely expecting, he actually said "We'll see". So exciting!!



Today was Ben's second tee ball practice. He loves it. He still needs some fine tuning, and a little more back yard practice (he keeps putting his hands in the wrong position), but he's getting there. Here are a couple of pictures from this morning's practice. Oh- and take note of the color of his shirt. When he found out his team color was going to be purple, he almost quit. He's still pretty unhappy about it.
